COSTA RICA           

Costa Rica in the middle of Centralamerica is situated between Nicaragua in the north and Panama in the south. The western border of the country is bound by the pacific ocean, on the east by the atlantic ocean.
The total surfacearea is only 51.000 square km2, but it contains awide variety of mountains, valleys, rivers and beaches. In the north-south direction extending the Kordilleren-mountains with some active vulcanoes (Poas, Arenal, Barba, Irazu, Turrialba).
30 percent of the 4 millions inhabitans lives in the area of San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica.

The tropical climate is distinguished in two periods: the rainy season and the dry season. In main the difference between the seasons is the rain-quantity. The temeratures remain relatively stable throughout the year. In San Jose are the day-temparatures year-round between 20 to 27 degrees/C. Certainly the number of rainy-days is dependent of the season very different.
But the country can be visited during the whole year very well.

Most of the visitors comes to see the beautiful nature with the spectactular famous flora and fauna. Indeed there is a great number of Nation Parks  and wild-life-reserves all over the country.
Of course the many vulcanos in Costa Rica are very impressive. There is also a lot of beautiful dream-beaches, always good for a trip.
